Okey Ndubueze (P.hD)

With extensive experience in professional urban and regional development/ planning practice and research experience including lecturing experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

I have many years of consultancy experience providing services to the Office of the Research Projects and Advisory Services (ORPAS) at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), Erasmus University Rotterdam.  Such consultancy responsibilities include – guiding and assisting in the area of project development & project acquisition from different donor organisations in the Netherlands such as NWO, WOTRO, and NUFFIC and outside the Netherlands such as the European Commission, WTO, World Bank, UN-Habitat, USAID as well as in development, management and evaluation of different project types within the Institute. 

Specifically, I have delivered a range of services that include overseeing the preparation of project proposal tender documents, project development and review, course curriculum development and review, development of Strategic Plan reports and project evaluation reports, developing joint research agenda and research theme, and providing evaluation of project and partnership processes within ISS, etc.

Related competencies include the ability to deliver timely client-centred services in delivering project outcomes; requisite skills in forging partnerships with non-governmental organisations and other non-state and state actors; and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to mediate associated conflicts between different stakeholders within a planning/ project context. 

I also have other organisational support and management skills.  I am a dedicated team player with excellent multi-task skills, social and communication skills, able to work independently under pressure and capable of delivering value-added solutions within a project and partnership management framework.
