Scope: Assess government adherence to election promises, policy implementation, and overall performance.
Methodology: Use surveys, interviews, and secondary data analysis.
Publication: Release the report publicly and distribute it to key stakeholders including policymakers, civil society, and media.

Research Collaborations

Partners: Collaborate with universities, think tanks, and research institutions.
Focus Areas: Topics might include anti-corruption measures, public finance management, and socio-economic development.
Outputs: Joint research papers, policy briefs, and symposiums.

Data Collection

Tools: Develop a robust data collection system using digital surveys and mobile apps.
Database: Maintain a secure, centralized database accessible for internal analysis and public reporting.

Conference: 50 Years of OACPS

Conference on Fifty Years of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the OACPS, the African Studies Centre Leiden organised and hosted a full-day conference on Friday 6 June 2025. Bringing together scholars, policymakers, diplomats, development practitioners, and students to offer a platform for deep engagement with the organisation’s legacy and relevance.
